It has been a long time since I wrote a blog entry. I guess growing up means forgetting your passion about somethings, and letting go of the others.

So many things have happened within this time frame while I was away. I had an internship in summer, managed to achieve a few goals (none of which were academic) during the summer hols. For starters, EMC had its first musical, YAY =)) Really want to thank God for guiding all of the MJYFers.

The freshmen just came in a week ago and they're an active bunch =D Just hope that CMU don't turn them into zombie geeks (aka Mark Wong). Haha, sometimes it gets a bit cruel when you're always labeled the oddity. But I guess I've learned to live with it =)

International Orientation was a fun experience. I got to meet lots of the new freshmen, get to experience their excitement and anticipation, mingled with anxiety and uncertainty of their future. Was I like this when I came? I don't know, but I vaguely remembered I couldn't care less if I were back in NUS or not. The journey to CMU occurred to quickly, and I found myself spending more time catching up and adapting than worrying about what course I should take. Perhaps I should have been more pro-active, as now I am punished by having to take C@Cjavascript:void(0)M =((

Orientation is about to end, the freshmen are having their last laugh before semester starts. And I cannot connect to any of the experience relayed: Convocation, Sex talk, Play Fair, House Wars? They weren't in my list of things I could share, nor talk about.

In two days a hectic semester will start. I guess I should slash down more on Go and DotA. I guess 81 units wasn't a good idea. But what's done cannot be undone. We'll see how it goes. Till a long long time guys, if there still is anyone reading my blog =) May the Force be with you.

Feel a bit sad I won't be seeing Hobart and Noel in CMU though =(
